1. Tuesday Birthday Celebration at Daycare
2. Wednesday Birthday Celebration with Friends
3. Wednesday Night Birthday Celebration with Us
4. Thursday Birthday Celebration at Preschool
... and that rounds out the birthday week of the newly crowned 4 year old... with yet one more birthday celebration to come a week from Saturday with lots of family.
Joel's day started out with a specially requested chocolate donut. We didn't disappoint, and they were even fresh, as I was able to stop at 6:30AM after my workout. (they had made the crown the day before at daycare)

Some outside time with awesome big brother Mitchell when he got home from school.
Open gifts from us, a new Leapster Explorer, which he actually likes way more than I thought he would
Check out Grant trying to sneak that paper off the gift without us noticing... Joel got a few Batman accessories to add to his Batcave he got for Christmas.
Cupcake time again!! Specially requested blue frosting with jelly beans on top.
Grant was SOOOO upset that he didn't get candles and singing (and by that I mean SOOOO upset) that we decided to not ruin the nice family moment we were having celebrating Joel's birthday by just singing to Grant as well. We tried to do it without the candles and a different song as well, but that was NOT going to do it. So... hence we have pictures of Grant blowing out candles on Joel's birthday. Oh well...

Grant thoroughly enjoying the gift opening as well. I am pretty certain (as you will see below) that he really thought it was his birthday as well. Oh well, maybe we'll expect him to understand this concept next year...

And in case you missed Grant's first birthday, we had a replay with his eating of this cupcake, it took him about 30 minutes and ended with his hands and face stained blue
