**Update** So Proud

Joel continues to amaze us with his attitude about his casts. They aren't slowing him down and he has yet to complain about them... or the fact that he can't go outside to play... or the fact that he can't take a bath with Grant like usual... he continues to be very understanding and grown-up. He was very proud to have his preschool teachers (whom he adores) sign his casts yesterday and was looking forward to some of his daycare friends signing as well.

In fact, based on his comment to Grant on Tuesday after he got the casts on... telling him... "Grant, you should have gotten these on your feet too!", my guess is that his understanding is that he has these casts because he is special and for no other reason:)
