Mr. Bikeman

Unlike Joel (who has had a preference to a scooter ALL summer long), Grant can ALWAYS be seen on his bike that the Easter Bunny delivered this spring. We started on the driveway and now almost always end up riding around the neighborhood. The boy just loves his bike and is proud of how he can stand up and ride it up the neighborhood hills.

So Much Fun

The "BIG" slip 'n slide made its debut this summer just yesterday! I am not sure why we waited so long, I guess I just did not realize just how much joy it would bring. Joel and Grant used it for about FIVE solid hours yesterday, and I still had to DRAG them in. Several friends came over to share in the fun and they all loved it just as much (as you can see from the obvious joy in their faces).

I had the chance to snap some pictures of my friend's kids recently. Each time I do this I learn something important, but here are few of my favorites from the shoot.

Another Celebration

And as if Madeline Island wasn't beautiful enough, this is what the Vadnais Heights Commons looked like after Jenn worked her magic for their wedding reception August 6th. Well, Jenn and a few others of us, with some serious chair sash-tying skills:) It. was. beautiful... as you can see. I believe there were about 175 guests and the entire night was perfect.
